Florals for Spring? Groundbreaking.

There is not an Epcot festival I would turn down. But to be honest, the idea of a "Flower & Garden" festival just didn't have me as excited compared to Food & Wine.

Boy was I wrong.

I hate to say it. But I think I like Epcot's International Flower & Garden Festival more. Everything is bright and colorful, the food is so fresh, and to be honest I have always been more of a beer girl. There is delicious frozen drinks *cough* Violet Lemonade *cough*, beer & cider flights, and potato pancakes! Plus the beautiful Disney character topiaries at each of the countries. This festival will be going on until the end of May. So far here is a few of my favorites I'd tried so far!

Frozen Dessert Violet Lemonade at Pineapple Promenade

Twinings® Green Tea Berry Mint Julep at The Berry Basket

Potato Pancake with Caramelized Ham, Onions and Herb Sour Cream at Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market

Beer Flight from THE SMOKEHOUSE: Barbecue and Brews
3 Daughters Phantasmas Spicy DIPA, St. Petersburg, FL
Shipyard Maple Bacon Stout, Clearwater, FL

Orange Blossom Pilsner, Orlando, FL

Beer Flight from Florida Fresh
Tampa Bay Brewing Company Quat Seasonal Fruit Ale
Barley Mow Brewing Company Mirth and Merriment Golden Ale, Largo FL
Florida Beer Company Feast of Flowers Farmhouse Ale, Cape Canaveral, FL

Frushi: Fresh Pineapple, Strawberry and Melon rolled with Raspberry Coconut Rice, sprinkled with Toasted Coconut and Whipped Cream on the side

VIP Tour: Royal Tea Garden Tour
This was such a cool tour to do. The tour starts at 9:30 a.m. before World Showcase open to all guests. It is a guided tour through Twinings® tea gardens highlighting the different plants used to make each blend. Our tour guide's name was Jack, who was actually from the UK. He made it fun and interesting. At the end of the tour each members get to enter The Tea Cady and select their most intrigued tea from the tour to try accompanied by a savory and sweet scone. I decided to try the Earl Gray with Lavender, which was very good. I see a tea kick in my future. I would highly recommend this tour for the content alone, and at $15 per person you can't say no. The tour can hold up to 20 people and runs every single morning. To book call (407) WDW-TOUR.

Considering it's only the first week of Flower & Garden I have so much more to try and a lot of time. The passports they give out at the front of the Theme Park are a great way to track what you have tried and what's next. There is so much more to try and I see a bunch more Epcot trips coming soon.
